Elected local municipal Councillors and Directors from all over the province will be meeting at the Union of BC Municipalities on September 18th to discuss shared priorities. Let’s make MORE BUSES one of the priorities. You can send an email quickly to elected representatives in a community you know needs more buses…. like Williams Lake. Google Williams Lake Council and you should be able to quickly find an email address to send them a message.

Here’s some SUGGESTED WORDING, but you can use your own!

Dear representatives:

Please support the MOTION to the Sept. 18 Union of BC Municipalities Union of BC Municipalities meeting to DOUBLE RURAL TRANSIT.
BC needs to step up:

• for the safety and affordabilty of life for rural citizens

• give vulnerable people transport to

hospitals and vital services.

• reduce vehicle emissions and fight the climate crisis!

• we need a public service, province-wide interconnected coach network!
